Stephanie Simmons joined CBS 2 in Los Angeles as the station's morning traffic anchor in November 2012. She also covers traffic-related stories and feature stories on other CBS2 and KCAL9 newscasts. Of note, Stephanie was the first-ever reporter invited to film inside the historic home of Bob and Dolores Hope in Toluca Lake, CA. Simmons joined CBS2 and KCAL9 after having served as the host of "Hollywood Dailies" on ReelzChannel and "Great Day St. Louis" on KMOV-TV, the CBS affiliate in St. Louis. Previously, she covered traffic and entertainment for WRTV-6 and WTHR in Indianapolis.
Before she was on-camera, she spent quite a big of time behind it as a pit-producer for the IndyCar series. Stephanie also spent time as the official emcee for the Indiana Pacers and served as an Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader for 3 seasons.
Away from work, Simmons enjoys an active lifestyle. She races competitively in multiple marathons and half marathons throughout the year. She is a member of the elite SoCal Coyote Running Club. She also enjoys hiking with her two rescue dogs.
